It's been a summer to remember partnering with our friends Urban American Farmer for 2022's FIELD GUIDE FESTIVAL in Austin, Texas. Trisha and Lindsay of UAF brought together Chefs Philip Speer, Comedor; Jorge Hernandez, Hotel Emma, and the best of the bounty in local produce, meats, cheeses and products to cook over fire with Thaan Large Lump Charcoal on Mill Scale smokers and open fire grills. Thaan Charcoal delivered its high heat and consistent results to bring out the inherent flavors to the Ploughman's Picnic Menu: Recado Negro Peeler Farms Lamb, Arroz de Setas with Smallhold Mushrooms, Heirloom Masa Tortillas, Xni-Pec, Habanero Salsa. It was truly a memorable event for all the senses.
