Charcoal Roasted Carrots with Soy-Honey Butter

SERVES 2-4
1 bunch of carrots
1/4 cup unsalted butter
2 T soy sauce
2 T honey
Salt
Extra virgin olive oil
Fresh cilantro
Black sesame seeds


Peel carrots, halve, coat with extra virgin olive
oil, season with salt.


Roast your carrots over Thaan Charcoal so they soften
and char – approximately 20-30 minutes. Place carrots
on a platter or large plate and set aside.

Soy-Honey Butter:
In a small saucepan, over medium heat, melt butter,
whisk in soy sauce and honey.

Assembly:
Pour soy-honey butter over carrots and garnish with
sesame seeds, cilantro and salt.
