High Desert Blend is the briquette shape you already know, without the petroleum. No accelerants, nothing that gets between the fire and the food. Just a steady, even heat that holds while you do something else.
The blend is oak, pecan shell and juniper, all sustainable byproducts of Estado de Chihuahua. Oak brings a smooth smokiness and juniper a subtle floral aroma, while pecan shell, a renewable byproduct of the pecan harvest, gives the blend its characteristic light, nutty smoke. It is the most distinctive charcoal we have developed, and the one to reach for when dinner should take care of itself.
